After joining as Director of Operations, Arafat helps create excellent experiences for anyone interacting with the Bangladesh Unbound support teams. In addition, to tour design, Arafat is passionate about leadership development, continuous improvement and, of course, travelling! He completed his Bachelor's in Public Administration in 2008 and Master's in Public Administration in 2009 from the University of Chittagong. In 2011 he completed his Post Graduation Diploma in Business Management from the United Kingdom. In 2015 Arafat completed his Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management. Arafat started working and travelling in the UK, followed by several years in India, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bhutan and Srilanka.
The roots of his family's origins in Persia, Arafat has spent most of his life living everywhere until just a few years ago. Being a passionate cook, he worked in different restaurants in the UK, including Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, and London, to learn authentic Indian and Bangladeshi dishes. Arafat still loves to guide travellers. In his spare time, Arafat follows his favourite wildlife photographer Franz Lanting, Marina Cano and Joel Sartor. He loves wildlife photography and captured a few great shots.
