About Bangladesh Unbound Ambassadors
Tour guides are the foundation of Bangladesh Unbound. We consider them as ambassadors, not a guide. Being a guide is always a challenging and stressful job. But when you want to be a guide from a third world underdeveloping country or into a country like Bangladesh where few tourist attractions are available. There have yet to be good transportation and communication infrastructures developed. Accommodation facilities could be better or below standards to support the country’s tourism sector, and it’s more challenging to be so.
Guiding in Bangladesh in front of foreigners is very hard. The guide must be accurate in all aspects and manage all possible things to make a tour successful. The guide is also responsible for representing his country, along with cultures, heritage, people and natural beauties, in front of the travellers so they can have a good view of the country through their visit. When they return home, they can treasure some good memories with them and remember they’ve visited a country named Bangladesh which is excellent!
This is what guiding means to us and what we believe. A guide should act as an ambassador during his duty, and he must remember that he represents his beloved country in front of our honourable and respected foreign travellers. Bangladesh’s reputation and image depend on him and how he expresses his beautiful country.
Here’s how we ensure our ambassadors are honest, excellent, knowledgeable, skilled and professional.
